“There is a waterfall in every dream. Cool and crystal clear, it falls gently on the sleeper, cleansing the mind and soothing the soul.” – Virginia Alison
A river does not die when it falls, nor does it hobble over nature’s towering halls. It does not weep seeing the path end, but takes a leap, letting a new one begin. A river does not let itself be caged, nor does it retreat from the edge, afraid. It does not linger to lick its wounds, but marches on in the gentlest of moods. A river roars on, celebrating its victory, letting all around know its history. Nothing will stop it from reaching its destiny, as it bends and turns toward the sea. A river will always take the leap, will always carve through the mountains steep, will never lose its way, and yet will remember to slow down amidst the fray. When worry plagues you, remember the river marching through. It never runs askew, despite its tosses and turns. For the ocean it yearns… Just like the river will meet the sea, you too can reach your dreams, if only you take the leap. Photo taken at Yosemite Falls on 3.22.24 with Canon EOS Rebel T6.
